A branch of Prahar started in Wardha, a district near Nagpur on 23rd January 1996. Lt Mohan Gujarkar, a lecturer in a college in Wardha, started this branch. Later on, he also joined the NCC as an Associated NCC Officer (ANO) and has been relentlessly working for the cause of Prahar. About 176 camps have been organized in Wardha district which includes Satpuda Trek and Himalayan Trek. This branch also organizes an August Kranti Daud every year and provides social service to the pilgrims who visit Dhaga on Mahashivratri day. For this project Prahar Wardha branch has been felicitated by Bharat Scouts and Guides. This branch has also received Maharashtra Gaurav Award in the year 2009.
