Since its inception, Prahar organization is encompassed with the military aura. The initiative started by Prahar to guide young girls and boys, who aspire to become officers in the Armed Forces has taken a huge leap in due course of time. We proudly state that till date 256 girls and boys guided by Prahar are serving as officers in the Armed Forces. We guide the aspirants in group discussions, group-planning, team-building activities, group tasks, psychological tests and various interview techniques. Leadership qualities gain root in them when they organize certain events for Prahar. Many such initiatives have been taken by the Prahar SSB Wing students like being instructors in the camps, organizing lectures and slideshows on Kargil Vijay Diwas, 16 December Vijay Diwas, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in various schools. An applaudable initiative was taken by these Praharis when they organized a conference of the Principals and Directors of various schools regarding safety and security of school and school children in the wake of Peshawar school attack in December 2014.
